DESCRIPTION:

Team tournament hosted at Centre Avenue Badminton.  This is our FUNNEST tournament of the year.  It will feature the largest gift exchange in the badminton community followed by an intensely competitive tournament capped off with great food and drinks at Namsan Korean Restaurant.  The captains of the FIRST ten (10) teams to fully pay will get a FREE limited edition Badmintology Calgary Hoodie or T-Shirt.

TOURNAMENT ENTRY FEE

Minimum 3 players | Maximum 5 players

$60 per person for tournament 

($180 - $300 per team)

FORMAT

There will be TWO draws.

1.) OPEN TEAM event 

  Maximum 5 players | Minimum 3 players

  Open to all ages, all teams must play OPEN draw regardless of age

AND

2.) AGE BRACKET BASED TEAM event (50+/60+) 

  Maximum 5 players | Minimum 3 players 

  50 years old bracket - no one can be younger than 50 years old on your team

  60 years old bracket - no one can be younger than 60 years old on your team

  *if you are eliminated in the OPEN DRAW qualification stage, you will be automatically entered into AGE BRACKET draw

No hidden costs.  You do not need to purchase any other membership and no hidden fees.  A waiver is required prior to playing this tournament. This event is not a sanctioned Badminton Alberta event.  Badmintology Calgary Inc is NOT affiliated with Badminton Alberta.
